Story Title: Matilda
Author: Roald Dahl
Review:
This story is about a little girl called Matilda who had extraordinary brain powers. Matilda's parents didn't notice that their daughter was special and called her dirty names like"ignorant little squirt". Matilda's brother was a perfectly normal little boy but she wasn't. By the age of one and a half, her speech was perfect and she known as many words as most adults. When she was three, Matilda taught herself to read by studying magazines and newspapers that lay around they house. She hankered after books after reading all the newspapers and magazines in the house but her father did not allowed her to buy a book. Nearly every afternoon, Matilda was left alone in the house. Her brother went to school, her father went to work and her mother went out playing bingo. She was addicted to bingo and would play it five afternoons a week. After being refused by her father to not buy a book, Matilda set out all by herself to the plublic library. Matilda was only four years and three months that time. After reading all the children's books, Matilda started on books by Charles Dickens.
When Matilda went to school, she was five and a half. She was cleverer than all her classmates and can even do harder things of multiplication like 14 times 19 when even her teacher needs to work it out on a piece of paper. Matilda also understands what's a limerick and even create a limerick about her teacher, Miss Honey. Miss Honey recommend to the headmistress, that Matilda was a genius and should be placed in the top form with the eleven-year-olds. Miss Trunchbull, the headmistress, barked at her refusing to let Matilda be placed in the top form. Miss Trunchbull also heard from Matilda's father that Matilda is a bad lot and even accused Matilda of putting a stink bomb under her desk.
After Matilda's and Miss Honey's relationship became closer, she was shocked to found out that Miss Honey's aunt has actually Miss Trunchbull and she trackied Miss Honey into giving her teacher's pay every month to her. It was suspicious to everyone that death of Miss Honey's father was by Miss Trunchbull. Matilda, in order to help Miss Honey practiced something using brain power...

On the day Miss Trunchbull came to Matilda's class ...
Matilda wrote on the board controlling the chalk using her brainpower pretending to be a ghost of Magnus making Miss Trunchbull to return Miss Honey's wages and house to her otherise he will come and get her like how she got him. After reading, Miss Trunchbull fainted. The next day, Miss Trunchbull disappeared and the wages and house were returned to Miss Honey.
The headmaster was changed and Matilda were put in the top form. But she did not have any extraordinary powers anymore as brain powers were used for having to struggle and strive and kepp really busy as she's competing against people more than twice her age.
When she went home, her parents were busy packing their luggages to escape to Spain as her father's a receiver of stolen cars from all over the country and selling them to other people.
Matilda begged her praents to let her stay with Miss Honey. Her parents agreed so that they have one less to take care of.
SO, Matilda and Miss Honey live HAPPILY AFTER AFTER ..

Story Title: Fame, Glory and other things on my to-do list.

Review:
This story is about a girl, Jessica, who dreams of going to hollywood and becoming famous. She finds her name plain as she thinks that there are enough Jessicas in the world. She feels that she needs a hollywood name like "Angelique" or " Cassiopeia" instead of plain old "Jessica". However, in the end, she dound out that in fact, she qiuite like it. Jessica finds her car, a honda civic, as original as her name. In her opinion, the car doesn't "like" her as whenever she is using the car, it worked only half the time. However, when her father uses the car, it starts up find without any problems. Jessica has one problem, a problem caused by her mum. She is paranoid everytime she leaves work after dark as she is afraid that someone would jump out and rob her, and she has her mother to blame. One day, when Jessica prepares to go home from work at the Wal-Mart, she thought someone was following here, She glanced back and saw a teenage guy with brown hair pulled into a ponytail, wearing some biker-looking jacket and a pair of jeans with a couple of holes spread across it. He seems to be walking in the same direction as her. She sees him as "a guy with 'lurker' potential". She tried, without avail, to start up the car. It had failed her once again, and at such a critical moment! After lots of attempts to try to chase away the "lurker guy", Jessica found out that she was in the wrong car. The truth hit her like a lightning bolt. The car was actually belonged to the "lurker" guy! They had identical cars, both silver honda civics. Jessica stepped out of the car, red with embarrassment. She went back to the car and tried to start it up, but to no avail. The "lurker guy", whose name was actually Jordon, helped her. She called her parents, but they were not at home, so she asked her sister to pass a message. Jessica found out that Jordan just moved into the neighbourhood and was going to attend her high school. Later, Jordon asked Jessica if she could help him pick out suitable outfits as his mum doesn't spproves of his clothes. She feels that his clothes are like handdowns from a heavy metal band that didn't have any access to a washing machine. On the way to the mall, Jessica tells Jordon about her dreams of becoming an actress. However, to her surprise, Jordon did not seem to agree with her. In fact, she thought her heard a hint of hate and anger in his tone. Soon, she found out why. Jordon was actually a very famous actor in hollywood acting in many action-packed shows, Christopher Hunter's son. Because of his career, he and his wife slowly got furtheraway from each other, resulting in them separating, each living their own lives. Jordon wanted to keep him as Christopher Hunter's son as a secret but by accident, she blurted out his secret to Mrs. Shale, the drama teacher. Before this, Jessica and Jordon had came up with a plan to convince his father to go down to Three Forks for a longer period of time and that is by getting a part in the next play. Word spread like wild fire. Soon, the entire school population knew that Jordon was Christopher Hunter's son. When Jordon learnt about in it that jessica had betrayed his trust in her, he didn't talk to her for 2 whole months. However, one day, he found Jessica and asked her for her help to reconcile his parents. So, thus begin their plans to reconcile Jordon's parents. In the end, the play was a totalk failure. However, the failure of the play brought Jordon and Jessica together and brought back Jordon's father and mother.

Today is E-learning day.
We get to stay at home to do our so-called homework.
It is a day where there is no school.
When there is no school, people will be happy.
Just like me!
It is a fun and enriching day as we get to stay at home and learn at the same time.
In my primary school, there is nothing like this.
So I tried to make full use of time and complete my assignments.
It is just like school,during school hours and stuff but it beats listening tu teaches' lectures.
HAHA.
The questions asked are mostly what we study in school, so, it is just like an revision for us.
I treat today like a holiday although it is a school day.
YAY!
Today will be a very interesting day for me I reckon.
'Cause I'm having fun at home doing homework without teachers' nagging !

Hello to all teachers and friends .Today , I'm going to post about MY HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE .Please , ENJOY . ((:It is going to be a interesting holiday for me this JUNE .I will be going overseas to HONG KONG on the 18th June to 22nd .Yes everyone . YOU are right . It is during the last week of holiday .That's why I would have enough time to finish my homework .(SRY! I WASN"T CONCENTRATING!!!)-->>> BACK TO HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE
This holiday I would just do my homework and laze around at home .~~~~haha~~~~THE FIRST WEEK OF HOLIDAYS :I went out with my primary school BEST mates on TUESDAY the 29th .We went to JUNCTION 8 which is located at BISHAN .We ate lunch together and took some pictures .In short , NEOPRINTS . Having seeing them for not long(?!)(hehe . i just saw them in april the 5th) I was very happy . ((:Soon , it was time to part . )):(SAD)But i enjoyed myself very much .!I went out with the class(well, some pupils and teacher actually)to ESCAPE THEME PARK .Our first place to play was the HAUNTED HOUSE as it was raining and the other "playing" grounds were not "open" .We had to queue up and was after the boys after they played .Jeraldyn and I were too afraid to go and ran out .We tried for the second time and the same thing happened .2nd place:We went to play the pirate ship after that .I was afraid of the heights . But not many people was screaming so i told myself not to scream . AND I DID IT !!! YAY!!3rd place :WET N WILD .We had to sit a boat and went up a "slope" . SLIDING DOWN 2 "slopes" , we got ourselves very wet .Fortunately for me, I wasn't sitting at the back seat so I was not very wet . ((:We played 3 rounds of WET N WILD .LUNCH WAS SOON AFTER .Yin Wei and I went back to ESCAPE THEME PARK after lunch .YES, we rested for a while before returning .We played something that was called INVERTER and we were turned upside down . Although it was scary, it was exhilarating .We went home after that .I'm trying to work on all my homework and looking forward to the trip to HONG KONG .! HURRAY FOR ME !! hehe .kaiYing thanks the teacher for visiting .

Guardians , from the start of the world , had been guarding MAN'S most precious thing in the world , and that is time ...
Guardians and Human's time are separated so as to prevent the same disaster, chaos, that happened once in the early time's of the first Guardian, Tempest . Guardians and Humans cannot see each other as their time is separated .
But now , time wobbles are appearing too often .
Due to the time wobbles , Humans , could now see the Guardians ..
The leader of the Guardians , Old Father Tim , with another Guardian who could translate the olden language - Aleyesu , went to a deep underground place in search of Gemebur [a measuring chamber or room] where there is a device built by Tempest , to stop the time wobbles . But they had gone for too long a time until Tid and Sofi [ Grandson and grand-daughter of Old Father Tim] decided to save him .
They met up with each other due to a bump . They continued their search for the Gemebur's journey together .
The journey wasn't smooth-sailing at all . Guardian's worst enemies , the Wreccas was trying to
dig in the tunnels of the Gemetbur for treasures .
While trying to escape from the Wreccas ,they "accidentally" found the Gemetbur .
They thought all their troubles were " finished" once they found the device. But they had nothing , no instruments to fix the device .
They had to seek the help of a UNFRIENDLY Wrecca to fix the device .
They will have to depend on that Wrecca to save the world from a disaster that will disrupt the peace and harmony ..

I hope that my english results would at least have a B3 .For my final year exam .This is only the first year of my secondary school life .This year is nothing compared to secondary 2's life .Having a B3 would be good enough for my first year .During my mid-year exam .I had a B4 for my english .To improve from a B4 to a B3 is quite well .Though , my B3 must be a high one .Having a A2 isn't a bad idea too .To improve , I have to work harder .Even if it is only a COMMON TEST .It will also be in my total results .I did not realise that in my MID YEAR EXAMS .So , I have to work harder !!!!!THANK YOU TEACHER FOR READING ..!!Pls tag ..kaiYing
